Netherhall House, London (1960-1984): The Commonwealth dimension, James Pereiro (pp. 13-51).
The 1960s projected expansion of Netherhall House, an international hall of residence for students in London, took place at a time when the British Government was particularly concerned with the formation of the intellectual and political elites of its colonies or former colonies. This was also one of the aims of Netherhall House, and the hall would attract official help for its expansion plans. The article also examines, through an analysis of its operation, to what an extent the hall achieved those objectives.

Das Studentinnenheim Müngersdorf – eine Initiative des heiligen Josemaría: 1957-1966,
Barbara Schellenberger (pp. 53-76) | Müngersdorf Hall of Residence – an Initiative of Saint Josemaría: 1957- 1966.
The Founder of Opus Dei during his first visit to a Centre of the Women’s Section in Germany, on 24th August 1957, had recommended the setting up of a brand-new student residence in post-war Germany. Only a few months previously, on 12th October 1956, had a few young Spanish women come to Cologne in order to establish the apostolic work in Germany. They started— practically without any financial means—with the setting up of a small student residence for women in hired accommodation. The aim of this report is to emphasize how Saint Josemaría had initiated and supported the building of a residence for women students on the strength of faith and apostolic vision alone.

Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer y la misión del IESE en el mundo de la empresa, Antonio Argandoña (pp. 131-162) | Saint Josemaría Escrivá and the Mission of IESE in the World of Business
The IESE—Business School of Management which forms part of the University of Navarre—was created in 1958 at the initiative of Josemaría Escrivá. Alcuni incontri di san Josemaría Escrivá con personalità ecclesiastiche durante gli anni del Concilio Vaticano II, Carlo Pioppi (pp. 165-228) | Some meetings of St. Josemaría Escrivá with ecclesiastic personalities during the years of Vatican II
It is common in biographies of Josemaría Escrivá to mention that he met with many participants of Vatican II, but always in a general and summary way. Based on several sources found in the General Archive of the Prelature of Opus Dei, this article is the first effort to specify who these ecclesiastic figures were that St. Josemaría met with from 1962 to 1965.

Secularización y clero en la Archidiócesis de Zaragoza durante el primer tercio del siglo XX: la percepción de Juan Soldevila y Romero,
Fernando Crovetto (pp. 295-338) | Secularization and clergy in the Archdiocese of Saragossa during the first third of the twentieth century: the perception of Juan Soldevila y Romero
An analysis of the decrees issued by the Provincial Council of Saragossa together with the reports of the ad limina visits carried out by Juan Soldevila y Romero in 1917 and 1922, shows, broadly speaking, the situation of the clergy and the lay faithful of the Archdiocese of Saragossa in the first third of the twentieth century. The image presented by these sources will help us to better understand the years of study spent by Saint Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer in the Seminary of Saragossa.
