The biography traces the life of Florentino Pérez Embid from his childhood in Andalusia, through his formative years and his activity as a promoter and manager of cultural companies, to the beginning of his political career, as General Director of Information and member of the Private Council of Juan de Borbón. Special attention is also paid to his connection, since 1943, to Opus Dei, which inspired his Christian way of working and the development of his public action: he was in fact the first member of Opus Dei to hold an official position.
