Estudio del contexto histórico de España en la década de los años treinta del siglo XX, y de las circunstancias que rodearon el momento fundacional en el que san Josemaría vio que también en el Opus Dei cabían mujeres. Se describe la actividad que desplegó Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer para formar a las primeras mujeres que se acercaron a los apostolados de la Obra, y se dan datos biográficos sobre ellas.

A study of the historical context of Spain in the 1930’s and the circumstances surrounding the foundational moment in which St. Josemaria saw that there was also room for women in Opus Dei. A description is given of the activity carried out by Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer to give formation to the first women who came in contact with the apostolates of the Work, and some biographical details are given.
