El Instituto de Capacitación Integral en Estudios Domésticos (ICIED) comenzó en 1973, promovido por mujeres del Opus Dei. El presente trabajo se centra en los veinte primeros años de esta institución y deja ver la influencia que ejerció en la sociedad argentina, en favor de la igual dignidad de las personas y de los trabajos, en la educación en la libertad personal y responsabilidad social, y en hacer patente las posibilidades que la educación en el ámbito de las empresas de servicio ofrecen al desarrollo humano.

El Instituto de Capacitación Integral en Estudios Domésticos (ICIED) was set up in 1973 as an initiative of the women of Opus Dei. This study examines the first twenty years of this institution and shows the influence it has had on Argentinian society, on fostering the equal dignity of persons and jobs, on education for personal freedom and social responsibility, and on highlighting the possibilities offered to human development by training in the area of services companies.
